Without Yapping, Here's How To Make Abstract Geometric Transition in After Effects. First open Adobe After Effects on your computer and wait for the program to load completely. After the workspace appears, create a new composition to begin your project. Set the composition settings you need, then confirm to open the timeline. Next, import your video clips from your computer into the project panel. After the clips have been imported, place both clips in the timeline in the order you want them to appear. Overlap the clips slightly so the transition area is created between them. Once the clips are arranged, create shape layers from the layer menu. Add circles, triangles, or rectangles to the shape layers using the shape tools. After creating the shapes, place them around the screen in different positions so they are ready for the transition animation. Next, select the shape layers in the timeline. Press P on the keyboard to open the Position property and press S to open the Scale property. Enable keyframes by clicking the stopwatch next to each property you want to animate. This creates the first keyframes at the current playhead location. Move the playhead forward to the point where the transition should finish. Then move the shapes across the screen by changing their Position values. Send some shapes from the left, right, top, or bottom to create dynamic movement. After that, scale the shapes larger or smaller by adjusting the Scale values. This creates growing and shrinking motion during the transition. Continue animating the shapes until they cover the first clip on the screen. As the shapes move and expand, use them to hide the first clip completely. Then reveal the second clip by timing it to appear behind the animated shapes as they continue moving away or resizing. If needed, add Rotation by pressing R on the keyboard and enabling keyframes. Rotate the shapes during motion to create a more energetic and abstract effect. After completing the movement, preview the animation by playing the timeline from the beginning of the overlap. Watch carefully to make sure the shapes move smoothly, cover the first clip properly, and reveal the second clip at the correct time. Once everything looks correct, add the composition to the Render Queue. Click Render to export the final video. Your abstract geometric transition is complete.
