Without Yapping, Here's How To Animate Timeline in After Effects. First open Adobe After Effects on your computer and wait for the program to load completely. After the workspace appears, create a new composition to begin your project. Set the composition settings you need, then confirm to open the timeline. Next, use the Shape Tool to create a horizontal line inside the composition. After creating the line, place the line in the center of the composition so it becomes the main timeline path. Once the line is positioned correctly, create circles or dots that will represent timeline points. Place the first circle on the line where you want the first event to appear. After that, duplicate the circles to create multiple event points along the horizontal line. Arrange each duplicated circle at different positions to match separate events. Next, add text layers for dates or event titles. Place each text layer near the related circle so the information matches the timeline points. After setting the circles and text, select the line layer in the timeline. Open the shape layer menu and click Add. From the options that appear, choose Trim Paths. This will create controls used to animate the line drawing effect. Open the Trim Paths settings and find the End property. Set the End value to 0 percent so the line is hidden at the beginning of the timeline. Then enable the stopwatch for End to create the first keyframe at the current playhead position. Next, move the playhead forward on the timeline to the point where you want the line animation to finish. After moving the playhead, change the End value to 100 percent. A second keyframe will be created automatically, causing the line to draw across the screen from start to finish. After animating the line, select each circle layer one by one in the timeline. Press S on the keyboard to open the Scale property for the selected circle. Enable keyframes for Scale if needed, then animate each circle from 0 percent to 100 percent so the circles appear as the timeline line reaches them. Repeat this process for every circle layer. Preview the animation by playing the timeline and checking that the line draws smoothly while the circles appear in sequence. Adjust any keyframes if needed. Once everything looks correct, add the composition to the Render Queue. Check the output settings if necessary, then click Render to export the final animation.
