In this video, I’m taking my sister’s room from straight-up chaotic to an actual dream room makeover. We start with the messy reality (because it’s always worse before it gets better), then I go into my usual reset mode: clear everything out, sort what’s staying vs. what’s gotta go, and deep clean so we’re not decorating on top of dust and random clutter. Once the room is finally “blank,” I can actually plan the layout and make the space feel bigger, cleaner, and way more cozy. The biggest glow-up is the setup area. I focus on making it functional but still cute—clean cable management, better desk flow, and a chair that doesn’t destroy your back when you’re sitting for hours. I also talk through how I think about budget-friendly upgrades that look expensive (without actually being expensive), and how I try to keep the room easy to maintain so it doesn’t instantly go back to messy. The whole point is giving her a space she’s excited to be in—like a real dream room, not just a “cleaned for today” room.
