Should rental property owner use a real estate agent as their property manager?

Real estate agent is a very different profession from a property manager. A property management company is responsible the property repairs and upkeep of the property. A property manager has relationships to get work done to the property, inexpensively & correctly. A property manager often has a contractor license as the skill set is important. A property management company also excels at screening rental tenants, rent collection issues, tenant management. And a property management company typically has systems in place costing 10's or 100's of thousands of dollars to manage a rental property, with accountants & support staff.
