Playing Golf with an Old Friend

My old buddy, Jeff Moyle and I play The Chimneys golf course in Winder Georgia. 9/15/19. Jeff and I worked together for a while over a decade ago. We had similar tastes in music, among a widely varied library of common interests. Dream Theater was our favorite band back then and is still one of our favorites (their show a couple of months ago was EPIC!). We played in a couple of bands that never really got organized enough to do anything. We went our separate ways due to work and family, but have always kept in touch. He was able to make it out to a gig my band was playing (I can't remember if it was my band, Stuntbox or Drivetrain), even though it was waaaaaay on the opposite side of Atlanta from him. We even wrote and recorded a song together that got airplay on 99X! It made the top 20 of their jingle contest (now, I'm going to spend a lot of time looking for that song, to share it here). I still have fond memories of the 99X "Big Day Out" show that we attended together. It had Green Day, Eve 6, Disturbed (When "Shout" was their big hit), Papa Roach and many other great bands. It was the best concert line up I've ever seen. We've always kept in touch through FaceBook and Jeff recently hit me up after seeing my posts of golf videos. I didn't know that he had moved back to the Atlanta area and I never knew that he played golf! Although, I didn't play when he lived near me, so, I guess there was no reason for it to ever come up. We finally got together to play and, even though I played like crap, we had a great time! This won't be the last time you'll see Jeff in a golf video of mine!
