#pottery #handmade #ceramic In this video, I sculpt a unique bonsai pot inspired by a calm body of water — with fish jumping out and splashing back in. The process starts with a simple round form in gray stoneware. I carve wave-like edges into the rim and transform the pot’s surface into a textured water effect. Then I sculpt and attach several fish, frozen mid-jump, as if they were leaping out of the pot itself. No glaze — only an oxide patina, to enhance the details and preserve the natural color of the clay. 🐟 Handbuilt from 20% grogged gray stoneware 🔥 Electric kiln fired to cone 8 (1240°C) ✋ No talking – just tools, clay, and sculpture •• SUPPORT THE CHANNEL •• Support me by becoming a Patreon member: 👉 https://bit.ly/3G9yOtf (Patreon takes 8% commission.)
