SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE & LULEÅ: Rovaniemi to Sweden, Gammelstad Kyrkstad & Storforsen // EPS 16

Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, a border crossing from Finland to Sweden, a visit to the most sunny city of Sweden, Luleå, a ride to the old church town Gammelstad Kyrkstad and Storforsen waterfall! Before we left the capital of Lapland, Rovaniemi, I did some shopping for the finnish Frazer chocolate. Then we were ready to visit Santa Claus! Santa Claus village and the Arctic Circle Center are located close to Rovaniemi - and I finally could touch a reindeer and talk to Santa about motorcycles. Our visit to Finland afterwards came to an end - we crossed the border to the next country: to Sweden! A rainy ride later we arrived in the city Luleå - the most sunny city on Swedens mainland! Initially Luleå was founded at a place that is now known as Gammelstad Kyrkstad - a UNESCO World Heritage with a medieval curch and about 400 red cottages that we drove through the next day. The next destination was the amazing Storforsen waterfall - before heading out on a hidden military road.
