LAPLAND: Roadtrip in Finland's far North in Summer – including a Gold Village! // EPS. 14

Finland, The land of the thousands of lakes was calling me - and I finally was following it’s invitation. Join the journey to the arctic Lapland, to endless forests, to the old Sami people habitat Inari, to a gold village - and to some of Finlands 188.000 lakes. Finally Finland! We took off from Kirkenes in Norway - and it was just a short ride of 55 Kilometers to the finnish border. Lapland was welcoming us with forests, lakes - and 1.000.000 Mosquitos! After we explored one of Laplands small remote roads close to a lake, we had a little incident: My travel partner dropped his motorcycle - and the horn was broken! But nothing that can't be fixed by chief mechanic Lea Rieck. In the old Sami people habitat Inari we visited the Sami museum Siida, and continued our route along some amazing lakes. But even more amazing was our stay for this night: The Tankavaara gold village, where people travel to learn how to pan gold!
