Singleton Drums is Jack’s boutique brand making handcrafted solid shell segmented stave snares, and this 10mm beech prototype seriously impressed me. It’s focused, loud, and ridiculously responsive across low to super-high tunings, and for the €750–€850 range it’s a genuinely strong value for a handmade stave drum.
