Hi guys! In this video, I’m sharing an actual Native Camp lesson using Let’s Go 4, Unit 2-2 (pages 14–15) with a Japanese kid student. This is not a “perfect demo,” and I really say that upfront—because I want new and aspiring online teachers to see what a real class can look like, including the small pauses, the adjustments, and the natural flow. I start with simple greetings and self-introduction, then I talk about speaking speed and why I try to keep my pace clear and kid-friendly. During the lesson proper, I focus on keeping the class smooth and engaging—guiding the student through the material step-by-step, checking understanding, and maintaining a friendly tone. I also share my lesson style in a practical way: I don’t overcomplicate it, I just keep it simple, consistent, and supportive so the student stays comfortable. At the end, I wrap up the session and also mention that there’s no lesson feedback included here, so you can focus on the actual teaching flow.
