Hi guys! In this video, I’m sharing an actual “Free Conversation” class on Native Camp, and yes—this is the real flow, real pacing, and real vibe of a lesson. I also included a quick intro, greetings, and my self-introduction so new and aspiring online teachers can see how I start a class naturally. One of the highlights here is that my student is an adult Japanese learner who can speak a bit of Tagalog, so you’ll see how I handle the conversation when the student mixes languages and how I keep it friendly and comfortable. I also talk about my speaking speed and lesson style—how I adjust depending on the student, and how I guide the conversation without making it feel like an interview. Then we go into the lesson proper and wrap up the session. After that, I show “no lesson feedback,” which is also something teachers experience on Native Camp, so I want you to be aware of that reality too.
