This is me trying my best to fix a PlayStation 5 console that was just turning off after a few minutes of being on. Apparently this _can_ (but is absolutely not guaranteed to) be due to the liquid metal compound used on the processor in the console having hardened or in other ways become dislocated. And is therefore not transferring heat to the cooling system, heat sinks and fan correctly anymore. Resulting in that the console turns it self off due to heat protection. Replacing the liquid metal can then potentially fix the issue. Which is what I set out to do here. Like mentioned in the video *do not use this video as an actual guide for replacing the liquid metal on your PS5-console* but more as something to refer to while also having watched a few other videos on the subject. I am in no way an expert here. But a happy amateur at best. The exact PlayStation 5 model in the video is a CFI-1116A (a version of the standard disk model). For any other model the internal layout and placement of component etc. will most likely be different.
