How to Remove Malware Apps from an Android Tablet

All of a sudden our Android tablet could not be used normally and ads were displayed everywhere and upon trying to launch basically anything, even Settings. Turns out an app masked itself as the system launcher and sneakily gained access to basically controlling the whole tablet, displaying its own interface on top of the normal Android one. The app in question is called Food Dash Flow Control Game. But this approach of infecting an Android tablet (or phone for that matter) is in no way limited to this specific app. On this tablet alone another app named Fruit Merge Fusion also had the semi-hidden option to completely take over the tablet by using its own system launcher. In this video I go through a few ideas on how to find which app or installed software is actually causing an Android device to appear ”hacked” or infected with a virus or malware.
