Some call it Kalaha or Kalah. While others refer to it as Mancala / Mandala / Manqala. As well as that many just call it the Bean Game or Stone Game. The ”problem” here is that Mancala, as I understand it, is not actually a specific game - per say - but instead a whole family of games with the common basics of that they consist of a (wooden) board with holes where you move stones (or seeds as they are called) around to try and beat your opponent by collecting the most of these seeds. Kalaha is here then sort of a specific variant within the Mancala family of board games. That is a bit more simple and more commercially available compared to some more complex Mancala game variants. For extra confusion, the Kalaha version is also most commonly sold under the Mancala name in the US. Where’s in Europe Kalaha is the more common name of the same board game.
