In this video I go through how to enable the built in Metal Performance HUD overlay available in macOS for any application or game that is using Apple´s Metal API. The main focus of the video is how to be able to see FPS (frames per second) information on how a game is performing in Steam running through CrossOver. But like mentioned I also go through how to enable the Metal Performance HUD directly in the macOS operating system and not just through Steam and CrossOver. Please note that, as for games, this approach only works on titles that are using Apples Metal API in the background. *Codes for easy copying and pasting:* defaults write -g MetalForceHUDEnabled -bool YES defaults write -g MetalForceHUDEnabled -bool NO Please share any thoughts or questions in the comments below, and I'll do my best to answer them. *~* 🔥 My *#1* Tech Products of Right Now → https://amzn.to/4kgYrdP 🧰 My YouTube Video Gear → https://amzn.to/43nTOZJ
