If you are running Steam in CrossOver on your Mac you will most likely (pretty much immediately) come across the fact that there isn’t enough space on the computers internal hard drive to install any games. Luckily CrossOver makes an easy game of adding an external hard drive to the Steam bottle installation and then store your games on that. This video does not go through how to install CrossOver or how to create and install Steam. But instead focuses on how to add an external hard drive to an already existing Steam bottle. The version of CrossOver used in the video is 25.1.1 but the process is basically the same in both earlier and hopefully later versions of CrossOver as well. The computer used is a MacBook Pro M2 Pro. *If you need an external hard drive I recommend Samsungs´ excellent (and affordable) T7 (1TB - 4TB).
