Crocodile Dentist Teeth Game | How Does it Actually Work?

I was playing this game with my son the other day and got a bit curios on how the whole mechanism actually works. Both on how all of the the teeth reset as soon as you open the mouth after it closes, as well as how random the selection of which tooth that needs to be pushed down for the mouth to close actually is.
