I walk through what you get in the box, how the setup and installation process goes, and then I break down pricing and specs for each one so you can decide if they make sense for your house. I also spend time inside the Aqara app, because in my experience the software is just as important as the hardware when you’re relying on these devices for real security. I also show how they fit into Apple Home, including what the experience is like if you’re building around HomeKit Secure Video. And because doorbells live and die by communication, I do a two-way audio demo so you can hear what it actually sounds like in the real world. I wrap it all up with a straight pros and cons list for the G410, then the biggest wins and drawbacks for the G100, and finally my honest take on whether these are “best new” contenders—or just solid additions depending on what ecosystem you’re in.
