This is the Strandberg Boden Essential 6, and even though it’s the most barebones Strandberg you can buy, it doesn’t feel like it skimps on quality at all. It’s super light (about 5 lbs), insanely comfortable, and it’s honestly my favorite Strandberg I’ve played so far—especially because it skips the fan frets.

- +Bright, articulate OEM humbuckers that cut through
- +No fan frets (more familiar feel if you prefer standard frets)
Cons
- -String changes/tuning system has a learning curve and limited wiggle room
- -Dongle-style wireless transmitters may not sit properly in the jack area
