The Nick Johnston HSS is the one I ended up liking a little more because it doesn’t feel trapped in one lane. It nails that classic S-type aesthetic but adds modern stuff that actually matters: locking tuners, TUSQ nut, a thin C neck, ebony board, and a really usable HSS set with the Schecter 78 for PAF vibes. For the price, it’s hard to find anything else stacking this many specs in one place.
