In this weekly update I’m sharing how the strawberry hanging baskets are getting on in the polytunnel and the great progress they’re making so far. ⭐ Oakland Gardens Hanging Baskets https://www.oaklandgardens.co.uk ⭐ Albion Everbearer Strawberry Plants https://amzn.to/4ri3WfX The strawberry plants are starting to settle in really well and are putting on lots of fresh green growth. Growing strawberries in hanging baskets is a fantastic way to save space in the garden or allotment, and it also helps keep the fruit off the ground which can reduce problems with slugs. Keeping the baskets inside the polytunnel should also give the plants extra warmth and protection, which can help encourage earlier flowering and a longer harvest season. Throughout the season I’ll be sharing weekly updates on the strawberry baskets so you can follow their progress and see how well they produce. Growing strawberries this way is perfect for gardens, patios, balconies, or allotments where space is limited but you still want plenty of delicious fruit.
