In this video I’m sharing a special project that’s been a long time coming—restoration work is finally starting on an Active Red AR2 GT-R R34 that Andrew & Tommy from @GARAGESZERO bought from my shop, Garage Defend, about two years ago. The plan was always to send this car to the USA, but right before import they decided to do it properly and get a complete restoration handled by Yoshida-san at Garage Yoshida, with full NISMO aero and other NISMO goodies installed before it leaves Japan. To kick things off, I invited Yoshida-san to my shop in Nagoya so we can go through the car together and confirm what needs to be done before the restoration begins. For me, this is the right way to protect a rare R34 and make sure it lands overseas in the best possible condition—clean, correct, and ready to enjoy. This is a Garage Defend x Garage Yoshida collaboration, and I’ll be sharing more updates as the work progresses and once the restoration is complete, so stay tuned.
