In this video I’m welcoming John back to my shop in Nagoya to see his dream Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 that he purchased from us last year. This is always the best part of my work—when a customer finally stands next to the car they’ve been thinking about since childhood, and you can see that “this is real” moment on their face. John came in May 2025, checked the car closely, and honestly he fell in love all over again. After the shop visit, we went together to Garage Yoshida and met Yoshida-san to look at multiple cars he’s restoring for us. I show the kind of restoration work happening behind the scenes, and we talk about John’s future plans for upgrades on his R34—what direction he wants to go, what makes sense to do first, and how to keep the build balanced and clean like a proper GT-R should be.
