In this video, I take you with me as we kick off a proper restoration project at Garage Yoshida for one of my favorite specs—GT-R R34 V-Spec II Nür in Bayside Blue. Recently we’ve been restoring and building a lot of iconic-color JDM sports cars, and especially R34s, by working together with top shops here in Japan. This clip is a quick intro, but it shows the real starting point before any tools touch the car. Before the work begins, I always go through the full plan—what we’re going to restore, what direction we want for the build, and how we schedule the timeline so everything is clear from day one. The main focus here is the Bayside Blue V2 Nür, but you’ll also see our Lightning Yellow GT-R R34 V-Spec getting started at Yoshida as well.
