I used the Flawless by Gabrielle Union Repairing Deep Conditioning Mask on wash day, and I actually liked it. When I see “repair,” I assume protein, and this does have some—but it didn’t make my hair hard or tangled, and my curls started forming while I applied it. For a protective style prep, it gave me moisture without feeling like too much protein.
