How to Clean and Maintain A Fountain Pen - Cartridge, Converter, Piston and Vacuum Fillers

Demonstration of cleaning and maintaining fountain pens with common filling systems including cartridge, converters, Piston Fillers and Vac Fillers. Please note - Disassembling your fountain pen risks causing damage as well as voiding warranties. Also all of the pens in this video were able to be effectively cleaned with water. If you have more stubborn ink stains - you may want to consider soaking in water with a few drops of mild detergent, running pen flush through components (in which case you should follow the directions on the bottle), or soak components in an ultrasonic cleaner to help break up dried ink.
