I walk you through how I like to set myself up so I’m not staring at a blank page—what to look for in the passage, how to capture what God is showing you, and how to keep your notes simple but meaningful. My goal is always to help you flourish in God’s Word, not to create a “perfect” spread. I also talk through tools that make journaling easier—like which pens and highlighters I reach for, and why paper-friendly supplies matter when you’re writing alongside Scripture. If you’re using a Humble Lamb Bible or an ESV journaling Bible, I share ideas for where your notes can go (margins vs. a dot grid journal) and how to build a rhythm that actually lasts. This is all about consistency, context, and creating space to slow down and engage the text with intention.
