Micro Lure Fishing for Crappie in Shallow Water (Jerkbaits for Panfish)

In this video, Davis Lenzen demonstrates how to use micro crankbaits (jerkbaits) like the Eurotackle Z-spender to catch crappie in shallow water. These are are mixed between pre-spawn, spawn, and post-spawn mode. It is mid May in Wisconsin and water temps are in the low 60 degree range. The micro lure causes a reaction bite when it is twitched and then allowed to pause for a short time period.
