The LP-UNF are the main subject of this review: ultra nearfield desktop monitors designed to sit on a desk without eating up space. What impressed me most was the low self-noise and how similar the top end feels to the larger LP series. They do have limited sub-bass, but for $299 a pair, they’re exceptional value if your room is small.

- -Limited low-end extension (not much below ~50 Hz)
- -Can have some boxiness around ~100 Hz depending on setup/room
- -Interconnect cable may be too short for some desk layouts
