Why did the U.S. economy stall in the first quarter of 2015? The annualized GDP number from the Commerce Department wasn’t expected to be very high, but it still caught people a little off guard to see that growth in the first quarter of 2015 was a paltry 0.2%. And while weather definitely put negative pressure on the U.S. economy in the first quarter, particularly in the northeast, the virtual zeroing out of growth has me concerned.
