Expedition Northwoods #6 - Reviving a DYING Tree, Planting Perennials, and NEW Meta Oakley Glasses!!

Today we started off with a little bone to pick with Fisker’s over the pruning Sears that I bought just a couple of days ago. Even though I only made about two dozen cuts with these pruner, they are already sticking and the metal on them is warping, even though I had not even made any hardwood cuts or cuts on larger pieces. Then in the backyard there’s a plum tree that had not been doing good for a couple of years and had a lot of dead branches on it as well as branches that were crossing each other so I gave it a really nice pruning and cleanup, although I found yet another large anthill at the base of the tree, which I think is causing part of the damage. So we will figure that out in the future. After that we had several different varieties of perennials to plant in the ground that we bought at true value in town for 75% off, this included astillbe, Shasta Daisy, and sempervivum!! Both of the gardening projects ended up great and I’m so happy with the results and excited to see how they grow. Next step was the most exciting part of my day, which was the delivery of my Meta Oakley glasses, which are POV video camera sunglasses that are also Voice enabled for control and I can listen to music on them as well, I’m super excited to try them out tomorrow and see how the footage looks! #metaglasses #metaoakley #northwoods #expeditionnorthwoods #tomahawk #treepruning #pruning #perennials #tomahawkgarden #gardening
