Sunday was a great day on Lake Nokomis! 🎣 We defied the odds with a impressive catch of five northern and one large largemouth bass, despite the challenging weather and mid-day fishing. With a mindful approach to sustainability, we decided to harvest three of the northern to minimize waste and make the most of our experience. Cooking the northern pike over an open flame not only preserves the nutrients in the skin but also adds a touch of simplicity to the process. By embracing the beauty of nature and adopting mindful practices, we can create a more positive impact on our environment. I hope you enjoy the serene views from the lake and the experiences we shared throughout the day. #expeditionnorthwoods #fishing #lakenokomis #northwoods #tomahawk #wisconsin
