We started out the day with a nice walk along the lake and found a magnet on the side of the road. Had the idea to check and see if I put this on top of an ant hill if it would in anyway deter or change the ants characteristics. I’ve been trying to think of some natural ways to help the trees out in terms of removing a colonies from their root bases. Then I’ve been wanting to try a little bit of woodburning as I haven’t done it since I was a kid and so I took a piece of a birch tree that we cut down at Jerry‘s property in mass city to make something dedicated to the ground breaking of that property. While it wasn’t obviously artistically perfect I think it was pretty fun to do and was a neat process. Afterwards, I’ve been thinking for a while that a fire pit by the back pond would be really nice for people visiting as well as myself to get back there and play guitar and drums so we completed that with great success!
