The TCL QM6K is my definitive best budget gaming TV for 2026 because it still delivers the three things I think great HDR gaming requires: local dimming, strong color coverage, and high refresh rate gaming with VRR. I was especially impressed with how it handled HDR highlights without major blooming, even with a limited zone count. For the money, it’s a smart buy that doesn’t feel like a compromise.
