We also liked the style that had wing nuts and washers. The caster brackets are good if you want to mount the pot to a workbench. This is how we modified ours. Proceed with caution and only do so if you’re familiar with pressurized systems. 1) Unscrew the paint suction pipe (NPT threads) using a pipe wrench (it has sealing paste applied so it will require a lot of force. 2) With the lid off, add marks to the metal rod above and below the retention rings (the silver ones with set screws) 3) Remove set screws on the metal rod running through the center (agitator) 4) Cut the metal rod at the marks 5) File off any burrs and add a chamfer to the metal rod 6) Check to make sure that the o-rings that seal along the metal rod are in good condition and add o-ring lubrication if necessary 7) Reassemble.
