I picked up the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask (the mini) at the airport duty free for only USD $12, and honestly I was skeptical because it was so cheap. But that day I forgot my night cream, and since airplane air is super dry and not good for our skin, I decided to try it on the plane before I slept. The smell was a little weird to me—kind of sweet like a dessert—and the texture feels like a regular moisturizer, not really like a “mask.” But when I woke up before landing, my skin looked so supple and so smooth, like the same result I get from my other favorite night cream. At home, though, it gave me some breakouts and little pimples, so I think it depends on your skin and your environment (dry air, winter, traveling). I asked my auntie (she’s over 50 with drier skin) and my brother to try it, and it worked well for them—so I still recommend it as a very affordable hydrating option, especially for travel.
