Hello everyone, in this #Shorts I’m sharing my honest review of Lancôme Idôle—yes, the one with that super slim bottle that cannot stand by itself. I didn’t even plan to film that day because it was such a beautiful day outside, but I remembered I had this perfume still in the box and I kept the plastic just because the price was still there (I paid about $120–$126 at the duty free airport). I always forget prices, so that little “rubbish” was actually important for me. This is actually my second time buying Idôle. When it first launched (around a year ago or less), I bought it and didn’t like it, so I gave it to my friend. Then I smelled it again on someone and it suddenly smelled so professional but still sensual, so when I saw it in Bali duty free, I grabbed it fast. The notes that stand out to me are a strong rose (from a special rose in Turkey made for Lancôme), balanced with musk, and a little sweetness like vanilla. The funny part: on my own nose I sometimes feel like “nothing special” and I can’t smell it on me, but the compliments keep coming—so now I’m really starting to love it (even if the packaging still breaks my heart).
