About This Video

A lot of y’all have been commenting and messaging me for a complete roadmap to become a developer that companies are actually willing to hire—especially in the AI world. So in this video, I break down a step-by-step roadmap in phases to help you become production-ready. I’m not just talking about “learn Spring Boot” and done. I’m covering the full backend engineering ecosystem: Java fundamentals, Spring Framework + Spring Boot, databases + Hibernate/JPA, tools like Git and Maven, real project-building, microservices, DevOps, and then AI. I start with the exact Java topics you need to enter backend frameworks (OOP, collections, exceptions, streams, lambdas, optionals, functional interfaces, etc.), and I also tell you what you can postpone (like deep multithreading) until you have a grip on backend systems and interview prep. Then I explain why I don’t recommend skipping Spring Framework—because Spring Boot hides too much, and you need to understand IoC, DI, beans, and autowiring to be solid long-term and strong in interviews. From there, I move into databases (raw SQL first), Hibernate, and then JPA as the way you actually use databases inside Spring Boot. Finally, I connect everything to real-world requirements: building complex projects (not isolated demos), moving from monolith to microservices, learning DevOps because companies expect it, and using AI both to integrate features (Spring AI) and to improve your productivity without “vibe coding.”
