Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately, I've been super busy at work and have had trouble keeping up to schedule, but I promise there are a lot of fun new videos I have in the works so stay tuned for that. I am so excited to for you to see my first ever YouTube collab video that I have produced entirely on my own with my friend Jess from Mister Krisp. If you don't know Jess, she is an edible artist. What I mean by that is she creates beautiful works of art out of rice krispies treats. We have wanted to collaborate together for a while, so it was a ton of fun to be able to come together and make an easter themed work of art. We made rice krispies treat eggs using natural dyes. We used matcha powder, saffron, raspberries, and cabbage... yes, I did indeed say cabbage! Overall this recipe was a ton of fun to make and I hope it gets you inspired to jump into your kitchen and make something fun for the holidays. If you want to make this recipe yourself, you can find all the info below: For the treats (makes 6 eggs. In the video we made this recipe twice, once for the matcha flavor and once for the saffron flavor): - 2 tbsp butter - 3 cups marshmallows - 4 cups cereal For the frosting: - 2 sticks of butter, room temp - 4 cups powdered sugar For the dyes: - 1 container raspberries, pureed and seeds strained - 1 purple cabbage, cooked in 2 cups of water, strained, cooked down with 1 cup of sugar until syrupy. - 2-3 tbsps matcha powder - 5-6 threads saffron #easter #passover #misterkrisp #elenabessercollab Song: Upbeat by Joakim INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/elenabesser/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/ELENABESSER FACEBOOK: elenarbesser SNAPCHAT: elenabesser #elenabesserchef #misterkrisp #naturalfooddye
