The Aventon Pace 4 is a Class 2 e-bike with pedal assist and a throttle up to 20 mph, powered by a 500W (864W peak) rear hub motor with torque sensor technology for intuitive power delivery. It features a removable, UL-certified 733Wh battery that can be detached without a key via a new side display or the Aventon app. The bike has a new side display, app connectivity with "Ride Tune" for customizable pedal assist, a Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, and 27.5" wheels with 2.1" tires. A major upgrade is the Aventon Control Unit (ACU) with 4G connectivity, offering GPS tracking, geofencing, unusual activity detection, an alarm, a startup password, and an automatic rear wheel lock. The frame features a more rigid gravity-cast aluminum front triangle and comes in a step-through design with three colors and two sizes.
