What you've waited for! 10000 Grit ALTSTONE RIN Splash N Go Whetstone

🎥 I am making a quick series on the ALTSTONE RIN line of Japanese Whetstones which are Splash N Go. These are individual videos for each grit of stone in the lineup, and I will use them to sharpen the same knife through the entire progression from 1000 to 10000 grit. This video is for the 10000 grit, and is the mid point. The knife in the video will be a Browne Halco German High Carbon Stainless steel (DIN 1.4116 / X50CrMOV15) #altstone #altways #ceramicstone #sharpening #knifesharpener The company that sells this stone, ALTWAYS, Is a distributor for Suehiro, not to mention the ONLY Distributor who sells the Suehiro Maido (according to information I found while researching). So this would lead me to believe that answer just might be yes on if these are essentially "mini CERAX" (FUKAMI line) or "mini Debado" (RIN line) stones, but these RIN series are much harder (like Debado) than the FUKAMI and Cerax line of stones, yet they still sharpen EXTREMELY smooth! This particular stone is the ALTSTONE RIN 10000, and it is a great stone. They all come with a stand / non slip mat to set it on as well as a nice sized Nagura that is grit matched!
