I Turned a LEGO Figure Into an EXTREME Bass Speaker… It Blows My Ears!”

My old bookshelf speakers just didn’t cut it anymore… the bass was weak and the sound felt flat. So instead of buying new ones, I decided to do something completely crazy: build my own speakers shaped like a giant LEGO minifigure. 🧱🔊 But there was one rule: they had to BANG. As a 90s rave kid who spent nights dancing at the legendary Love Parade in Berlin, I need serious bass. The kind you can feel, not just hear. So here’s what I did 👇 I started with a set of full-range drivers rated down to 65 Hz… but that obviously wasn’t enough. To push the low end further, I added a huge passive radiator and tuned the speakers to around 60 Hz for extra punchy bass. Then came the fun part. Instead of a boring speaker box, I designed a custom LEGO-style minifigure enclosure in 3D software and printed all the parts on my brand-new Creality Spark X 3D printer. This super affordable entry-level printer even supports multi-color prints, which made it perfect for this crazy desktop audio project. The best part? I built the entire speaker system right on my desk — no workshop, no fancy tools. And when I finally powered them on… They absolutely blew my ears off. Way louder, deeper, and better than I ever expected.
