This video is my first drive of the year in my 2022 Mustang GT, and I kept it simple on purpose: no music… just V8. I took the car out on 421 heading toward the Shady Valley Country Store, letting the cool air and empty stretches of mountain road do what they do best. This one isn’t about chasing numbers—it’s about the feel: throttle response, engine note, and that road feedback you only get when you’re actually out there driving. For me, this was also a shakedown run to see how the Mustang’s doing before I head back to Road Atlanta in the next couple of weeks. Last time I ran a 1:50, and I honestly think I can do better this time around, so this drive was a mental and mechanical reset.
