In this video I’m riding and talking through the Acedeck Ares X5, and the big headline is the brand new Hyper Link truck system. The way I’d describe it is it takes a lot of the guesswork out of stability and handling—so instead of constantly fighting your setup, you just get this pure, fun, “beat of a ride” feeling that makes you want to keep pushing it. What I like most is how versatile the setup is. I’m looking at it as a board you can run for street performance, but it also makes a ton of sense for short-track/track use because the trucks feel planted and predictable.
