Shure MV7+
The Shure MV7+ is a convenient move if you don’t have an interface, because you can run it straight over USB and use Shure’s app. Sound-wise, I’m not super stoked on it—it comes off a little muffly and dark to me compared to the SM7B and even some cheaper handheld options.
Pros
- +USB connectivity (no interface required)
- +Doesn’t need as much gain as an SM7B
Cons
- -Sounds a bit dark/muffled to my ears
- -Pricey for what you get if you already own an interface
