Ibanez RG565

This Ibanez RG565 Genesis is what I’m playing in the demo—mine’s in C standard and it’s that Vampire Kiss color, which is just sick. It’s a great metal guitar platform for tight rhythm work and fast lead stuff, and it pairs really well with a 6505-style amp and a boosted front end.

Pros

Cons

-Lower tunings can expose low-end boom if your cab/EQ isn’t dialed
-Personal preference: setup and pickups matter a lot for high gain
