On my baritone setup for Drop A, I used the D’Addario 12–60 set (it’s basically their Drop C pack) and the tension felt just right at 28" scale. If you’re trying to learn Nile riffs on a longer scale guitar, this is an easy, affordable way to get the feel under your hands without the strings turning into rubber bands.
