8 years ago today my dad died. And yet I found myself curling my hair, putting on my makeup and going out for the evening. Very different to my usual vibe where I light a candle and have a cry but it’s a Saturday night and I am going to a gig with my children. And it made me think of that Bon Jovi song ‘feeling like a Monday but someday I’ll be Saturday night!’ If you’re grieving you might not feel like partying. But there’s room for that to change and to grow. Maybe not now. But in time. Does this resonate with you?
