Happy Christmas, wherever you are and however today looks for you. I was doing the dishwasher earlier and thinking about how much joy is happening in the world today - people sharing good news, celebrating, feeling hopeful. If you’re grieving this Christmas, sometimes it can help to lean gently into that. Not to push grief away, not to pretend everything’s fine - just to let some warmth sit alongside what’s hard. We don’t have to generate joy from inside ourselves. Sometimes we can borrow a little from around us.
