Suzuki DR-Z4s Off Road Test Ride and First Impressions

I FINALLY got a chance to throw a leg over the new Suzuki DR-Z4s at this year's Touratech Rally. We went out for a twenty minute mostly off pavement ride and I got a good sense of the new DRZ and its features, performance, and comfort. My initial Suzuki DR-Z4s review is mixed. I like the refinements they've added to the DRZ4s but I'm disappointed they didn't seem to focus on any of the major pain points of the old model. Comparing old vs new DRZ the new model is definitely better, but I'm not sure it's worth the asking price of $9000 US. I'm glad I had a chance to ride the new DRZ4s off road. It was a blast to rip up through the forest roads and through some loose sections perfect for testing the new off road traction control. I was impressed with the DRZ4s off road traction control but I definitely didn't like the off road ABS. I hope I can get some more seat time on one of these bike in the future because I'd love to do a comprehensive 2025 Suzuki DRZ4s review at some point in the future.
